Reagan Ramsey’s allstar team video

If you know my family, you know my 10year old girl Reagan loves ball. She made allstars again this past year and I put together a little video to give to the girls.

Hope Turner & Girls

Hope and Michael Turner have 3 beautiful girls. Hope brought her baby in for her 3 month portrait the other day. I am very fond of the Turner family. Have you ever been around someone and you feel as though you’ve known them your whole life? Well, that’s how the Turner’s are. They are such a joy to talk to and just be around.

Katherine Anderson (Overton High)

BUSY! BUSY! BUSY!

It’s been a little crazy around here. Believe it or not Blogging takes a little time, and right now there is not much of that. I will be out at 6am

tomorrow morning for my first assignment and my last one starts at 6 tomorrow night. So here is a few sittings from the last few days.

Karen, Morris & Molly Griffin

Karen is my father in law’s sister, so we go back a long time. About 25 years to be exact. They have done a lot for my family over the years. Morris is one of those jack of all trades, there is nothing he can’t do. Karen called me a few weeks ago and ask me to do their portrait.  I always kid her, and tell her she is never going to let me take their picture. They have a house here in town, and Karen has created a pretty little garden in the back yard, it is very peaceful.  We shot several spots and here is just one of those.

Leigh Turnage’s girl, Avery

Leigh and her girl came in the other day to view their images. Leigh ordered a large portrait for their future home. Leigh noticed some portraits hanging in our studio that looked like paintings, so  I told her I would give her a rough draft of one.

Christin Kelley (Fayette Acdemy Senior)

I photographed Christin’s brother a few years ago and now it is her time. One thing you notice about Christin is she loves to smile, it is her personality. When we photograph a senior, we try to get a variety of expressions. Sometimes when you don’t smile you might look mad and sometime you don’t. She did great either way.

Avery Erickson (Naples Florida)

Avery and her family moved to Naples a little while ago. Tonya (the mom) comes back home often to visit family. Avery is a quiet little girl until you get to know her. Her MiMi was their to help. Sometimes it takes everyone. Her big brother found a big bull frog right before we left. We tried to set the frog down to get a picture, but I don’t think the frog was in a picture mode!!

The Owen’s

Terry Tacker’s son Houston

Terry is formerly from Covington, she now lives in Savannah. The first time we photographed Houston was about 2 years ago. It was 8 in the morning and the ground was wet. Well, Houston did not like his feet to get wet and he wasn’t a happy camper. It’s neat to see what 2 years can do to a child. He has the sweetest personality and talked more country than me. His mom promised him she would carry him to Freds, he pronounced it Fraaaaids. Anyway he wanted to buy an alligator. I hope he got his alligator, because he did a wonderful job.

Lincoln Roane

It was time for Lincoln’s 3 year old portrait. Lincoln did great for a 3 year old. There are some ages that generally photograph better than others. I always heard a saying, (the terrible two’s), and guess what, that is exactley right! From about 18 months to 3 years, it can be a job. That’s when they become mobile and independent and learn the word NO! That’s okay, we pretty much can handle them. Over the years you learn how to deal with every personality out there. I have had many times a child come in screaming and clinging to his mom and when the session is over, they give me a big hug and don’t want to leave. Those days are few but we have them, it’s all part of it.

Ross McCraw (senior Fayette Academy)

When Ross’s mom came in the day before the session she said her daughter is very simply, she does’nt wear make up, she plays sports and is very athletic. I always like to find out a little about the subject matter before the session, but when her mom said she does’nt wear make up I thought to my self, that can’nt be good, but I was wrong. She photographed beautiful! We went to her house on Main Street, and when I was photographing her all the cars came by an were just looking. I told here they thought she was a celebrity. She did great and she is coming in next week with one of her friends from school
