Merry Christmas from the Ramsey’s

I hope you guys have a wonderful Christmas and a blessed new year! We have had a wonderful year at Phil Ramsey Photography, we are truly blessed. Kelley Francis and Cindy Cook do an outstanding job in our customer service department. There is no way I could do what I do, if it wasn’t for them taking care of the day to day responsibilities of running a studio. We are so excited about next year. We have so much more that we will be able to offer to our wonderful customers. Our “Back in Black” special was a huge success, and we have two additional specials that we are adding to the calender. Also the 2nd and 3rd week of July, we will be at Gulf Shores not to play but to work. For 14 days straight,  at Sun up and Sun down we will be photographing your families on the beach. We have 7 families booked without even advertising. Our current customers will get first pick and beginning the first week of March we will open it up to others. My challenge to you this year is to bless other people. You know that feeling you get at Christmas, everywhere you go you are telling everybody you see have a wonderful Christmas and people are telling you the same. Lets be that nice and giving all year long. We are headed for some difficult times and there will be more people in need than ever, and the only way their needs will be meet is for you and me to step up and some times and get out of our comfort zones. So guys join with me and lets make a huge difference in our community this year.

Merry Christmas,

Phil, Cendi, Skylar, Reagan & Gracyn

Kale Jackson Senior Brighton High

Kale is a High School senior from Brighton. A lot of you that keep up with high school football probably know him, he was the quarterback for Brighton. Kale as you can tell has a wonderful smile, as a matter of fact he was voted best smile in his class. His parent’s are Greg and Angie Jackson. Angie was there that day, and so was Kale’s little sister, Lakin. Angie wanted Kale to take a few with his little sister, I tell you it was the funniest thing. When Kale was by his self he had the million dollar smile, when little sis got in, it almost became the funkiest frown I ever seen. Parents who have siblings know what I mean. I have a 14year old boy and a 11year old girl. They love each other but can’t stand each other if you know what I mean. I know Kale loves his sis and probably would put the hurt on any young man who messed with her, Ha! Anyway, I guess you would have to be there, I couldn’t stop laughing at themj391j18b1j081j62j57

The Bell Family on the Beach

We recently photographed Stacey Bell (Naifeh) in Gulf Shores. She chose this image for the wall. When people ask me what should we get for a large portrait I always tell them, “20 years from now when your kids are in college or married, and your sitting on the couch watching Deal or no Deal, and you look up and see that portrait, will you smile, and it bring back wonderful memories of days gone by. Whether it’s sitting smiling at the camera, or walking down the beach on the edge of the ocean, what ever makes you smile and be thankful for the blessings  in your life, that’s the one you want!2-b023

The Glass Family

We photographed the Glass Family a few days ago. It’s a good thing that you can’t see people shiver in pictures. It was about 30 degrees, and when its that cold we have to move like lightening. When it is this cold we do a session in about 15 minutes. I got the family to smile once and after that there faces were frozen like that, that makes my job a little easier, Ha!g38g55
