Folks, I am a blessed man. A part of my job is to get up and go hunting, which I love to do. While filming for my outdoor tv program, Inside the Wild Side, I see moments like these take place. The first image is Jimmy McMahan giving the command to retrieve a duck that he has shot. Some of you can relate to what he is doing and some of you can’t, but no matter what, I’m sure you will all agree it is beautiful! The second image is Tyler Davis of Covington. He is the son of Carolyn Lomax and Scott Davis. While I was filming, I looked over at Tyler, I saw the Sun streaming through the blind and I said “Tyler, don’t move” I set down my video camera and grabbed my still camera and captured this Image. I painted these images using Modern Media, you just don’t hit a button in photoshop or some other program to create this. It takes time! Before the leaves get back on the trees this spring, I will have a Special creating beautiful works of art like you see here. Basically what I am going to do is, create a beautiful outdoor set at a local lake. We will have decoys in the water, a dog will be present and much more. All you need is your waders, duck calls, gun and any thing you would take hunting. We will create an absolutely beautiful one of a kind painting. The subject matter could be your son or daughter, or could be dad, it doesn’t matter. Mom, is your husband hard to buy for? Imagine you giving him a painting of his son or daughter doing what he loves to do. If he doesn’t cry, you need to take him to the doctor and get his cryer fixed!! I am only going to take between 5 and 10 appointments for this because the paintings take a lot of time to create, you will hear more about this on my video update this weekend.

This is Gavin’s final session with our children’s program. Gavin and his family live in Arkansas, his mom grew up in Ripley, and when they come to visit they always stop by to let us capture that sweet rascal growing up. Rachael (mom) has another son, Thompson who is 3 now. He also went through our program and I have a large painting in my studio of him. Rachael does not know this yet, but she will recieve from us a beautiful 12 x 9 canvas coffee table book a gift for participating in our program. This book would normally retail for several hundred dollars. This book will be designed especially for Gavin. Our staff would like to thank Rachael and her family for being a joy to work with over the years! To find out more about our children’s program and much more tune in this weekend for our first VIDEO UPDATE!

This was Rowan’s official 1yr picture! She has changed so much her first year. I was really worried for Chelsea(Mom) after this session, I believe Rowan ate half of her cake. I asked Chelsea a few days later did she get any sleep that night, fortunately she did. Stay tuned to the blog this week and see our first video update. I will come on every few weeks and tell you what’s going on at the studio and share with you some great things that will be happening this year!

Well, my boy is growing up. He went to his first formal dance this past weekend with the beautiful Paige Castellaw. I remember taking Paige’s pictures when she was just a few years old, and now she’s going to a middle school formal with my son, go figure.
