About Phil

My name is Phil Ramsey. I was born and raised right here in Covington, Tn. I consider it a great honor to photograph your family.  I truly love people, and especially children. I’ve learned over the years how to build a repoir with any age, from a terrible 2 year old to a 18 year old high school senior boy who absolutely refuses to smile. Before the session is over the 2 year old is giving me a big hug and the senior boy is laughing and tellling his mother, that was’nt bad at all, Mr. Phil is pretty cool. That is what we are known for, it’s not an act, we truly care about our customers. We have clients that drive from other states to come here, I know that sounds crazy and I try to talk them out of it, but they insist. When you trust someone to capture a part of your life that you can never get back, you want that photographer’s heart and passion to be devoted to that session. Give us a call, we would love to capture those special memories for future generations to enjoy.        finalphilweb

This is a great addition to your website!!! I love looking at all your beautiful work and reading about the different sessions. I’m sure we’ll be back sooner than later for more portraits. We’re going to have to build a bigger house to hold all of our portraits you’ve done!! Thanks so much!!

    Mr. Ramsey,
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve pulled up the picture
of Jeff and Beau. It makes a mother and a grandmother smile!
This comment is just for you. But I wanted you to know how much
I’ve enjoyed the picture of my “boys”

    Phil,
I’m so very glad to see your website. Now, I can show my husband your gift of capturing special moments, and hopefully we’ll be on our way to see you. There is a photographer here in Booneville, MS, where we live who is talented; however, I’ve always told my husband that this man’s work just doesn’t compare to that of you and your dad. Cendi is still just as beautiful as ever, and your children are beautiful little versions of you and her. Glad you are all happy and doing well.

Hey Phil – Hope you are doing well, all is good in Cottontown. I just wanted to see if you ever mailed the DVD copy of the show with the footage from Nebraska. (?) Charles Crutchfield stopped by this weekend and was asking about it. (I think he has aspirations of being a TV star – lol!) I hope that the footage did not cause a fall in the ratings!

    Thanks-
    Tony
