I would love for you to stop by, their will be refreshments. This is not a Political thing, it’s a community thing. With my photography I am recognizing individuals in the community that help make this a great place to live. Love to see you their!

We went to film a deer hunt Sunday night, Aubrey was filming me and Lee Carver was filming Skylar. When Aubrey and I got to the stands, they were gone, including a $500 camera arm for the video camera. We followed the 4 wheeler tracks for a little over a mile. They ended up at a residence, we called the cops, they arrived and did some investigating, and put the pieces of the puzzle together. One hour later, we have all of our stuff and the suspect is gone to jail. I told the suspect before they took him that in my life I have done some things probably worse than this and that I forgave him for what he has done and that I wouldn’t press charges. When we left I gave a life lesson to my son. Their are consequences to your actions. You can be sorry all day long but you will have to pay for what you do, Yes Jesus will forgive you. If you jump off of a building, Jesus will forgive you, but, you will hit the ground.
I would like to thank the Tipton Co. Sheriffs Dept. We have some top notch folks working there and we ought to be proud! Next time you see an officer be sure and tell them how much you appreciate them!

If I asked you, who is Richard Ramsey most of you would say he is probably the best photographer they have ever seen. Photography is what he does, that’s not who he is. He is one of the most giving people I have ever met. He always puts other people’s needs before his. He is a husband, a father, and a Grandaddy, and all his Grand babies just adore him. If I become half the person he is I would consider my life a tremendous success! He has taught me a lot in my life and he always is there when I need him. Dad love animals, and if you could get a glimpse of him any night in his living room, he sits on his chair and there will be 3 dogs and a cat sitting in his lap, and if he gets up they follow him where ever he goes. He has also taught me everything I know in photography. I was talking to him the other day and we were discussing marketing, In Covington, I don’t have to market much, it is a small town and every body knows you. In Memphis it is different. It’s hundreds if not thousands of photographers. So there is a lot of competition. A photographer friend told Dad something and it was right on the money. “There are so many people trying to do photography now, offering everything under the sun. There is only one thing they can’t offer. They can’t give them a Richard Ramsey Portrait! There is only ONE place in the world you can get that!!! and that is at Ramsey Photography! Happy Father’s Day Dad, We Love You!!

The older goose is Snora. Snora lost her companion a few months ago and was beside her self. She was in a major state of depression. Ms. Clair got some chicks, and Snora’s life has not been the same. Snora allowed me to rub her babies, I couldn’t believe it! It took Snora a few years to trust me, and now she comes a running every time she sees me.

Anne’s daughter Elizabeth who used to live in Covington, is now living in Colorado. Elizabeth has a beautiful 3 month old little girl. They were in town visiting and decided to have 3 month pictures taken. At the end of the session mom wanted to get in the picture with Ava, it turned out to be one of my favorites.
